There are some adjustments in order to work Corona proof and pleasant.

We adhere to the guidelines of the RIVM. All in person parent/child classes are cancelled from Thursday November 5 until Wednesday November 18 (or longer).

As soon as we can start live classes again, the following rules apply:

  • Wash or disinfect hands upon entry
  • Keep 1,5 meters distance between adults
  • Don’t pass materials from one child to another child
  • Those who are expected to be in home quarantine (such as with a cold, while awaiting the result of a Corona test, after staying in a country with code orange or code red) is not welcome in the lessons.
  • Anyone who has a positive Covid-19 test (and is therefore infected), inform the teacher about this. The teacher then gives a message to everyone in the class that someone from the group is Covid-19 positive.
  • Adults who have a cold are not welcome in class, even if they have a negative Covid-19 test result.
  • Wear a face mask when you enter the building. As soon as you are seated you can take your mask off. If you prefer, you can leave it on.
  • parents do NOT sing along
  • There is no opportunity for play after the lessons.
  • Only one (grand)parent per child can come to the class. Parents can swap per week.
  • Make up classes on another day or location is limited, there's no guarantee that it's possible.
  • Bring your own mat or rug to sit on.
  • Use restrooms only when strict necessary.
  • Use your own changing mat for changing diapers.
  • We may also ask you to bring equipment from home, such as a bucket for drumming, a bottle to shake with or sticks for tapping.
  • For children with a cold we follow the decision tree of Boink Child Care organization. Follow this tree from top to bottom to see if your child is welcome.

We disinfect the used materials between classes or put them at home in the washing machine.

We ventilate the rooms as well as possible. When the weather gets cooler, put on warmer clothes or a scarf against the draft. In locations where an outdoor space is available, we teach outside if the weather is suitable.

You will receive the sheet music by e-mail.

Because of all these rules, it’s more likely than usual to miss one or more lessons. For those who miss lessons, we will make short videos of some of the activities we do. You will receive a link to the videos so you can get started at home.

In the unlikely event of a total lock down again, we will make videos of all songs and everyone can continue playing with music online with their child(ren).

If the teacher falls ill and can no longer provide online lessons, a refund will be given or the course will be extended.

If we all follow the Corona rules, we can safely get back together and enjoy the lessons with Harlekijntje. We are looking forward to it!
